His quest is “to bring the realms of sacred and secular art together”undefinedand what better way to do this than with gold? Finnish artist Marita Liulia works with many mediums including painting, photography and short film, which are all encompassed by the themes of gold and tranquility. She celebrated her 30 year anniversary as an artist in a recent exhibit, Golden Silence, at the Embassy of Finland in Washington, DC.
