Sanna Massala has volunteered to teach a baking class involving a few Zoom sessions over two days. The dates are Saturday March 6 and Sunday March 7.
The timetable is as follows:
Before the course baking kits will be delivered (only locally) to people who have signed up. Kit contains a starter and rye flour enough for about 20 small round breads (reissumies).
Zoom sessions:
Saturday, March 6 at 8:45 am: Preparing the “Rask”. Instructions will be given on how to feed it in the evening. This session is approx. 1 hour.
Sunday, March 7 at 9am: Mixing the dough
Sunday, March 7 at 2pm: Making the dough
Sunday, March 7 after 4pm: Baking
The price for members (includes family members) is $30. Non-members $40.
