Marita Liulia's Golden Silence exhibition at the Embassy of Finland

The exhibition is open to public on Saturdays and Sundays from 11am to 4pm from March 8, 2014 to March 30, 2014

Golden Silence combines paintings, photography and short films, all encompassed by the themes gold and tranquility. These pieces portray the moment in an artist's life when they are most productive and have found their own voice. 

With Golden Silence exhibition Marita Liulia celebrates her 30 year anniversary as an artist. Liulia is an exceptionally multitalented artist, and her works have been on show in close to 50 different countries. Liulia visited Washington D.C. last time in 2013 at the Kennedy Center with Tero Saarinen Company and their piece HUNT which combines Liulia's multimedia works with Saarinen's choreography and dance. HUNT charmed both the critics and the audience.
